Comm-Ply is committed to reducing its environmental impact and promoting sustainability. For over a decade, we have been implementing sustainable practices in all aspects of our business. Our new ply lining kits are sourced from sustainable businesses and avoid the use of formaldehyde as a bonding agent, which allows the wood to be recycled or used as an alternative fuel. We also use our own heating system to burn off-cuts and waste material, reducing our carbon footprint.
In addition to our sustainable sourcing and recycling practices, we have set a goal to become carbon neutral. This includes maximising efficiencies in our manufacturing processes and utilising renewable energy sources. We are also expanding our manufacturing and storage facilities, adding an additional 10,000 square ft in 2022.
