Driver First Assist (DFA) Training Course

“There were 1,472 fatalities in reported road accidents in 2020.”

Driver First Assist (DFA) is a non-profit organisation working to reduce the number of road traffic fatalities. Training a growing 100,000 members to manage accident scenes and how to deliver trauma first aid. Comm-Ply is pleased to have taken part in the DFA training program this week. Essential in the effort to increase the safety, not only of our staff in the field, but our fellow road users. As many of our staff spend much of their time on the road, this course allows them to gain the knowledge and qualifications to be at hand if they find themselves, colleagues or others in a serious situation.

The DFA course will teach you the skills to manage yourself within the scene at a Road Traffic Collision (RTC) and to deliver potentially lifesaving first aid. There are many practical elements to the course, and it is very much a hands-on experience.
